Gavin O Keefe

I am a high school music teacher in NJ! I joined choir in 4th grade and never stopped singing.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Case Western Reserve University.

Gavin sings professionally in a holiday carolers group called Christmas Matters and has performed professionally at churches.

Some of my favorite theatre credits include Sam Carmichael (Mamma Mia), Prince Charming/Topher (Cinderella), and Lucas Beineke (Addams Family). 

My teaching style is all about growth, encouragement, and positivity. I believe students thrive when they feel supported, so I create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere where they can take risks and grow with confidence. At the same time, I push my students to reach their personal best by setting clear goals and celebrating progress along the way.

Humor and lightheartedness are a big part of my lessons! I want students to enjoy the process as much as the results. Whether you’re just beginning or working to refine advanced skills, I’ll help you build technique while keeping the joy of music at the center of our work together.
