Giulia Bolcato
About
Hi! I’m Giulia, an Italian light lyric soprano !
My world is opera and concert music — from early baroque to today — and I love sharing it with people everywhere.
I trained in Venice and Verona and since then I’ve sung on stages like the Royal Swedish Opera, the Grand Théâtre de Genève, the Salzburg Festival, Teatro La Fenice, and the Philharmonie de Paris. My roles go from Mozart’s Queen of the Night to Verdi’s Gilda, from Rossini to Strauss, as well as Monteverdi and rare baroque works.
Why do I sing? Because music connects. It speaks to the heart, and every performance teaches me something new.
I can help you with:
-
getting closer to music and enjoying it
-
improving musicality and expression
-
preparing auditions and competitions
-
discovering your own voice
-
building confidence through singing
Music is for everyone, no matter your level or background.
Each path is unique, and I believe music is never just technique: it’s joy, emotion, and sharing.
Music is a journey within — let’s begin together!” ✨
Teaching Style
My teaching style always starts from one simple question: what is your goal?
Every student has a different story, and I believe the best way to grow is to build a personal project around that goal.
From there, I guide each step of the journey — starting with breathing and healthy vocal technique, moving through style and interpretation, and arriving at full expressiveness.
As a classically trained soprano, with a special focus also on baroque repertoire, I can help refine vocal emission, stylistic variety and the ability to communicate emotion.
Here are some areas I can work on with you:
-
learning music and building confidence with the basics
-
improving musicality and stylistic awareness
-
preparing auditions and competitions
-
finding your own voice and identity as a singer
-
overcoming insecurity through singing
-
working on diction and languages in vocal music (Italian, French, German, English)
For me, teaching is not about imposing a method, but about listening and creating the right path for each voice.
