Guido Donato
About
Hi! I'm Guido, a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and music educator with over 15 years of experience.
I specialize in guitar, piano, voice, bass, ukulele, and music production. My background includes a degree in Music Composition from the National University of the Arts (Buenos Aires), formal vocal studies, and extensive work as a live performer and recording artist.
I’ve taught hundreds of students of all ages, both individually and in groups, adapting to their goals and musical tastes. My approach is creative, flexible, and based on a solid foundation of music theory, technique, and expression. Whether you're a beginner, a singer-songwriter, or an aspiring performer, I’m here to help you grow confidently and joyfully.
I’m also the founder of a music production studio (Casetera Records), where I help artists bring their songs to life—from demos to final masters. If you're interested in recording, songwriting, or production, we can explore that too!
Let’s make music that feels good and sounds great. I’m excited to meet you!
Teaching Style
My teaching style is creative, adaptable, and student-centered. I believe that music should feel meaningful and enjoyable from the very first lesson, whether you're learning your first chords or refining your performance. I combine technique, ear training, theory, and expression in a personalized way—always based on your musical tastes and goals.
With kids, I use playful and visual methods to make music fun and intuitive. With teens and adults, I focus on building confidence, developing a strong musical foundation, and encouraging artistic exploration.
Above all, I aim to create a safe and inspiring space where you feel free to express yourself and grow as a musician.
Curriculum
I tailor my methods to each student’s needs, combining traditional and modern approaches. I often use color-coded notation, ear training exercises, and improvisation games—especially with kids and beginners. I incorporate technique building, song-based learning, basic music theory, and rhythmic development in a way that feels natural and engaging.
For singers, I use classical and contemporary vocal techniques (including elements of the Rabine method) to support healthy, expressive singing. For aspiring songwriters and producers, I guide students through chord progressions, structure, lyric development, and digital production tools like Logic Pro, Ableton, or Pro Tools.
for Students!
Hi there! Whether you're picking up an instrument for the first time or returning after a break, I'm here to guide you with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm. I’ll help you connect with the music you love while giving you the tools to grow as a confident and expressive musician.
My lessons are always personalized—we’ll work at your pace and build a path based on your goals and musical taste. Ready to start this journey together? Let’s make some music!
