Haleh Samani

Accomplished cellist and music teacher, studied under the great cello professors like Alexandros Haralampous, Alexey Seleznev, Emin Martirosian, Kirill Rodin and Evgeny Rumyantsev and also Milkhail Mischin, Stanislav Bachkovsky (piano) at the Moscow State Conservatory named after P. I. Tchaikovsky, who had the great honour to  attended masterclasses with leading cellists including Alexander Rudin, Robert Cohen, Juhu Laitinen, Pejman Memarzadeh, Giovanni Ricciardi, Dmitry Eremen, Olga Galochkina. Recipient of the Russian federation Scholarship and a prize winner of international and national competitions. 

My orchestral and chamber music experience includes working under conductors such as Vladimir Fedoseev, Viacheslav Valeev, and Valery Polyansky, and attending rehearsals of musicAeterna with Teodor Currentzis. 

I’ve also worked closely with chamber music professors like Katia Skanavi, Sergey Pischugin, Ksenia Bashmet, Konstantin Masluk, and Stanislav Diachenko, with whom I had the honor of sharing the stage.

I have participated in and won a few national and international festivals and competitions, including the 30th,31st and 32nd Fajr International Music Festival, 31st Brilliant Talents, 10th National Youth Music Competition, 7th Classic to Contemporary Music Festival, 2nd and 3rd Tehran Contemporary Music Festival, Zeus International Music Competitions (9th, 10th and 11th editions, Greece), 2nd Milan Cello Competition (Italy), and the Friendship and Peace of Peoples Festival (Russia).

As a highly enthusing person about teaching and music, who eagerly for almost 6 years, has had the wonderful opportunity to gained extensive experience in teaching students of different ages, abilities and backgrounds, I am confident that my enthusiasm, dedication, and experience will help students reach their full potential and so proud to have helped my students develop their musical skills. 
I have developed my skills as a music teacher, both privately and within music academy settings. My specialties include cello, piano, history of music and music theory.

Being a student of Moscow state conservatory and studying under the greatest cello, piano and ensemble professors, playing at high level orchestra and ensembles, giving many concerts as a cellist and pianist, I not only have the technical skills necessary to teach music, I also have a very good knowledge of classical music repertoire and an excellent understanding of how to create supportive and engaging learning environments that cater to diverse learner needs. Also knowing few languages gives me the excellent chance to learn and develop my knowledge and skills in music and pedagogy.
