About
I am the Principal Trumpet with Rogue Valley Symphony in Southern Oregon. I also work as a freelance trumpet player, private teacher, and arts administrator in Southern California. For more than 8 years, I have worked with beginning to advanced trumpet students of all ages. I specialize in orchestral, wind band, chamber music, and solo trumpet. I received my Bachelor of Music in Trumpet Performance and Management from the University of Redlands.
Teaching Style
I am a firm believer that music should be played for enjoyment, which is why I use a flexible teaching model. All lessons are individually tailored to a student's abilities and level of interest. I have an honesty policy that students share their true time commitment and completion of homework. I understand that life is busy, so I assign homework based on individual needs and schedules.
