Igal sasson

Igal Sasson was born in 1979 in Isfahan, Iran.

He was interested in music since he was a child, and he started playing the keyboard and centaur.  He started playing the Daf drum with Master of Daf Mr Bijan Kamkar .

Since 2007, he started collaborating with music groups, performing concerts, and teaching the def instrument, and in 2013, he continued his artistic sense and knowledge in the presence of teacher Bijan Kamkar.

Igal has participated in many concerts with various orchestras in Tehran, Isfahan and other cities and is currently teaching in music institutions and centers.

In November of 2016, Igal Sasson, together with the Arghavane group led by Mustafa Ahmadi, had a series of performances in the Russian Music Festival in St. Petersburg.

Igal Sasson has won the following awards:

1- Winning the first place in the Russian International Folk Music Festival

2- Award for the best stage performance from the Russian International Folk Music Festival

3- Award for the best stage performance from the European Festivals Association

4- Special Jury Award

5- Getting to European folk music competitions
