Hi! My name is Igor Klimovski, and I’m a music teacher specializing in accordion, piano, and music theory. I graduated from the Faculty of Music in Skopje, where I majored in accordion performance and later specialized in piano and theoretical subjects.

I currently teach piano at a primary music school in Ohrid, working with children of various ages and levels. Teaching is my passion — I love helping students grow not only as musicians but also as confident and creative individuals.

 

Teaching Style

Since graduating from the Faculty of Music in Skopje, where I majored in accordion and later specialized in piano and music theory, I have been actively teaching and performing.

Currently, I work as a piano teacher at a primary music school in Ohrid, where I teach children of different ages and skill levels. My students have successfully participated in local school performances, internal exams, and regional competitions, showing both strong technique and musical expression.

Curriculum

My teaching method is student-centered and adaptable, based on the needs, age, and goals of each student. I believe that learning music should be enjoyable, structured, and inspiring. Whether the student is a beginner or continuing their music journey, I always focus on building a solid technical foundation, musical expression, and a deep understanding of music theory.

I combine classical methods with modern and interactive approaches, using digital tools when appropriate. Lessons are a balance of:

  • Technique development

  • Repertoire building

  • Sight-reading and ear training

  • Theory and harmony (integrated into instrument practice)

  • Performance preparation and stage confidence

For younger students, I often use games, rhythm exercises, and simple songs to keep the lessons fun and engaging.
