About

Hi, I’m Inesa a professional violinist and passionate teacher. My goal is to help you develop technique, build the sound, and make playing the violin a joyful, rewarding experience.

I combine a solid academic foundation with a results-driven approach, helping each student reach their goals with clarity and confidence.

Over the past three years, I’ve specialised in online lessons and have seen firsthand how effective they can be.

My students make consistent progress, develop healthy technique, and gain confidence in their playing — even from the very first lessons.

Clear results: noticeable progress in posture, sound, and ease of playing from the very first lessons.

🪄 Tailored learning: lessons adapted to your level, pace, and personal goals.

Step-by-step structure: a proven method that builds confidence and measurable improvement.

Musical growth: focus not just on technique, but also on sound quality, expression, and musicality.

Supportive atmosphere: patient, encouraging guidance that keeps you motivated and inspired.

Versatile experience: successful teaching with both children (6–15) and adults, from beginners to advanced.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or picking up the violin after a break, I’ll help you build strong skills and enjoy your journey.

Lessons available in English, Romanian, and Russian. Feel free to send me a message — I’ll be happy to answer your questions or help you get started.

Teaching Style

In my lessons, I like to take the time to focus on the things that really matter — like how you hold the bow, how your arm moves, how your fingers drop and lift, your posture, and how you approach the strings.

These may seem like small details, but they make a huge difference.

You’re not stuck. You’re just practicing wrong. I fix that.
When the basics are in place, everything else becomes easier, more natural, and more enjoyable.

I also make sure to include some music theory along the way — not in a boring way, but in a way that helps you understand what you’re playing.

You’ll learn how to read sheet music, follow a score, and even recognize patterns and structure in the music. It gives you more freedom and confidence as a musician.

Curriculum

For kids. In my lessons with kids I pay extra attention to forming healthy violin posture and correct physical movements. It will allow your child to play violin with comfort and avoid unnecessary body tension now and in the future. For those who are playing violin already for some time, at first I make sure if they need help in correcting their movements and posture. I believe that habit of carrying a lot of tension during the playing is better to be corrected step by step to prevent current or future problems that can affect health and playing quality.

During the process of learning, I always look at the perspective of a young violinist. That includes creating of a personal learning plan for now and for the future time. As we know, every child is different and unique, thus such personalized plan is aimed to unlock student’s potential which is based on his/her individual abilities. Creating a comfortable, friendly atmosphere during lessons is surely important, but I also make sure to keep such lessons informative. This way young students can learn something new when they attend lessons.

For adults. When studying violin as adult, it is important not to get focused with the idea that you’re starting too late. Instead, try to receive pleasure with every little step and do not chase for quick results. The advantage of studying in conscious age is that you can discipline yourself, analyze what you do and what are your expectations from this studying. In my opinion first step of work with adults would be psychological relaxation and liberation which, as a result, leads to physical relaxation. Playing the violin may help you to overcome fears of public performance, social fears, it can also help you to reduce emotional tension and to start enjoying your hobby. Constant learning of new things will allow you to improve your cognitive abilities, concentration and get rid of stress.

Depending on a level of a student and on what technical aspect of playing requires improvement, I use different materials such as Sevcik, Schradieck, 1-3 octave scales, etudes of Kayser, Kreutzer, Wohlfahrt. Various exercises can be helpful to form or fix certain habit, etudes and scales are good to develop good technique of both hands. I like to give my students pieces for their choice that will be interesting for them to play and are good to learn from. In my personal methods I refer to the researches of such violin teachers like Auer, Mazel, Galamian, Yankelevich, Yampolsky, Grigoriev.
