"I inspire Passion and excellence in music among students of all ages" James is a Musicologist, a full time Musician, Pianist and Clarinetist. He grew up in Lagos Nigeria. His Musical Journey started when he joined the choir in 2009, he became a very good tenor singer and later became a Music Director in 2014. He also picked up the keyboard in 2013 as his first instrument. In 2016, he leant to Play the Clarinet. James has been teaching music for a very long time and  He loves classical music, hymns, and other genres of music such as R & B and other inspirational songs. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theater Art and Music from the Lagos State University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), he is a registered and lisence teacher (TRCN), he also has a Grade 5 Music Theory Certificate from the Music Society of Nigeria. ABRSM equivalent James has taken interesting courses from the Music department during his undergraduate program. He plays the Piano and Clarinet professionally and can also teach the violin for beginners. He has been engaging students in Music lessons for a very long time and he knows the challenges students encounter while learning to play the Clarinet, Piano or even learning to sing. He has also taken part in grooming His school band in preparation for sports festivals and other ceremonial events. 

I like to introduce myself first if it is my first encounter with the student, then I try to find out if they have any background playing on the instrument or how long they have been playing, if they do, I would like to hear from their experience and also hear them play something as this enables me understand some of the challenges the students might be facing while playing the instrument and gives room for corrections. While in class, I also like to teach students how to easily go about their rehearsal routine. This could come as: The use of repetition while playing a particular section of music as this enables the student build up the required skill needed.
