About
I'm a professional musician - pianist with a degree in Piano music from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. Also, I successfully completed specialized academic studies in the field of Cultural and Art Management at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences.
For many years I have devoted myself to children and adult education and promotion of gifted young musicians. During 13 years of teaching at Elementary and High Music School Stankovic, my students have achieved great success in the state and international competitions in categories of piano solo and piano duo.
Piano lessons are a very joyful way to explore music world. I found it is important that students, both children and adults, feel the magic of every note of this beautiful instrument. Through quality and professional work, I strive to transfer my own knowledge, but also love for the instrument, because I consider that everything that makes music good and beautiful truly reflects a person, whether a performer or a listener, whether it's classical music or one of the genres of popular music.
My big passion is also the organization of musical events. In the last 10 years, I have been working in organization of the international Guitar Art Festival in Belgrade - one of the greatest Guitar Festivals in Europe (2008-2018), Guitar Art Summer Festival in Herceg Novi, Montenegro (2009, 2010), Music, Wine & Fashion in Maribor, Slovenia (2010).
Since 2012, I am the founder and artistic director of the international cultural and educational project Belgrade Chopin Fest, which annually gathers young and professional pianists and pedagogues. To promote young and gifted pianists from Balkan countries, we organize the year-round concert series Echoes of Chopin Fest. I am very proud that in the period of 2012-2018, Belgrade Chopin Fest presented more than 100 young talents, at 50 concerts in more than 20 cities in Serbia and region.
In 2018 I am awarded Medal for Merit to Culture by Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland for my dedicated work in organizing Belgrade Chopin Fest.
I'm looking forward to new challenges and successes in the team of Lessonface.
Teaching Style
I believe anyone can learn to play the piano, with the right approach and encouragement. I'm very patient and dedicated to students and always excited to help them to discover their musical abilities.
The program is tailored to student’s interests and goals for all levels. I structure lessons with an emphasis on building basic musical skills, while at the same time inspiring students to express their creativity and personality.
