Teaching Style
My teaching style is individual and based on students needs, starting with basics of instrument playing such as breathing, hands posture, standing and proper blowing into the flute as to acquire rich and sonourus sound on the flute.
First I like to get to know the student and see how can she or he make the best gain of my time. When it comes to teaching music, I always like to see things from more perspectives so I can give the right advice and guidance to my students.
The most important thing for me as a teacher is to help student to find personal and unique sound on flute, and be able to express with providing an adequate guidance through technique (scales, etudes, and daily excercies to gain fingerd flexibility and intonation).
I am experienced with working on interpretation through all classical styles from Baroque to 20th Century so I like to workd with students who starve to learn the depths of the exact period. For ever once in a while, I also work on interretation through improvization because as of my experience with classical flute students, it helps relaxing and visualizing the pictures for interpretation of piece performed.
I have worked in many music schools as flute teacher with over 50 students, from beginners to advanced players.
Curriculum
My teaching method is combined with Stanislavski's method for acting: If you want to do something, do it good. If you want to do it good, it has to sound easy. If you want it to sound easy, you have to practice it until perfection.
