About

With over 22 years of music teaching and vocal coaching experience and being a lifelong singer and artist myself, I specialize in guiding singers, musicians, and creative artists back to the power of their natural voices. As a professional singer-songwriter, recording artist, and live performer, I’ve been in the studio for over 15 years and have shared stages with other musicians and bands even longer — and I bring that same artistry and knowledge into the classroom, ready to share with my students.

My mission is to help people free their voices through releasing physical tension and emotional energy blocks, rehabilitate vocal health issues, and support singers in stepping fully into their artistry. Alongside voice, I also offer beginner to intermediate guitar and piano instruction, as well as lessons in songwriting — blending technical foundations with creative expression.

In addition, I hold a 200-hour yoga teacher training certification, which allows me to integrate nervous system regulation techniques, body awareness, breath, and energetic alignment into my teaching. I also teach classes in music production and have been hosting voice activation circles for over a year and a half, where I hold powerful space for people to reconnect with their truth, take their power back and reunite with their raw authentic voices. As a master facilitator and space holder, I am dedicated to creating a safe and transformative environment where every student can explore, grow, and shine.

Teaching Style

My style is all about creating a safe space first and foremost for the singer, musician, artist to feel seen, heard and accepted just as they ARE.

I warm, intuitive, and deeply attuned to each student’s needs. I approach teaching as a collaboration rather than a one-size-fits-all formula. I listen not just to the sound of your voice, but to the energy and emotions behind it. I create a safe environment where students feel encouraged to take risks, explore, and release old patterns of tension or fear.

While I bring the discipline of my classical and contemporary training with a blend of traditional vocal warm ups, physical exercises to help students connect their voices to their body and breath support systems on a deeper level as well as working through song material to sing - My main focus is on helping students unlock the raw, expressive voice rather than forcing it into a mold. I balance structure with playfulness, ensuring that lessons feel inspiring, healing, and practical.

I also am open to co-songwriting and co-producing depending on the student and project for these lessons. I mainly work out of Ableton and Logic Pro but understand how to also use Garageband.

Curriculum

My method blends vocal technique, somatic awareness, and artistry:

  • Voice Liberation: We start by identifying tension in the body and voice, using breathwork, gentle release exercises, and energetic awareness to free your sound.

  • Vocal Health & Rehabilitation: For singers recovering from strain, fatigue, or injury, I provide restorative practices and healthy technique to rebuild strength and ease.

  • Artistry & Development: Once your voice is free, we explore songwriting, performance, and artistic identity so you can express your unique sound with confidence.

  • Musicianship Skills: For students of guitar or piano (beginner to intermediate), I offer foundational training in chords, rhythm, technique, cover songs and creative application.

Ultimately, my method empowers students to not only improve their instrument but to reconnect with their authentic voice, step into their artistry, and share it boldly with the world.

I am not a traditional voice and music teacher that helps students just learn music and become followers. I help students become their own LEADERS.
