Hello! I'm Jenu, a passionate pianist with over 16 years of musical experience and a deep love for sharing music. My journey began in childhood and has grown into a lifelong commitment to both performance and teaching.
Over the years, I’ve served as a choir pianist and conductor, played the organ for college ensembles, and earned a Grade 8 certification in Piano Performance from Trinity College London. These experiences have shaped my musical voice and deepened my desire to help others discover theirs.

Teaching Style
I believe learning the piano should feel both exciting and approachable. In my lessons, I focus on building strong fundamentals—like posture, hand position, and reading music—while also making space for creativity and expression. I love helping students connect with the emotion behind the music, not just the notes on the page. Over the years, working with choirs and conducting has taught me how important it is to listen, collaborate, and bring out the best in each performer. Whether you're preparing for an exam or just want to play your favorite songs, I’ll tailor our lessons to your pace and goals. Most of all, I want you to enjoy the journey and feel proud of your progress.
Credentials & Affiliations
Trinity College London Certifications:
I completed Grade 8 in Piano Performance in 2015, and Grade 1 in Violin in 2009, both through Trinity College London, which laid a strong foundation in classical technique and musicianship.
- Professional Experience:
I have served as the principal pianist for a gospel choir in Nagercoil for over 12 years, regularly accompanying performances during services, special events, and seasonal concerts. From 2017 to 2020, I also played the organ for the Bishop Heber Chapel Choir at Madras Christian College, contributing to choral performances and college events.
- Teaching Experience:
In 2016, I taught beginner and intermediate piano students during a summer vacation program at Mello Music Academy in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu. Additionally, I provided private one-on-one piano tutoring to a young beginner student for nearly a year, focusing on foundational knowledge skills, rhythm, and musical expression.
