About

I am a 2018 graduate of Florida Atlantic University. My bachelor's degree is in Music Business however, I had a concentration in violin performance as well as business.  I served as Principal 2nd violin in the University Symphony from Fall '15 - Spring '16, Associate Concert Master from Fall '16 - Spring '17, and Concert Master from Fall '17 - Spring '18.  I have been teaching children under the age of 16 since 2015 in the public school system, private lessons, and music academies. Being able to teach music to children is part of my soul, as being able to pass on my love for music is something I have a great passion for.

Teaching Style

In Fall '15 - Spring '16 I was awarded the position of Associate Symphony Instructor for the Palm Beach County Orchestra Outreach Program and taught in two public school orchestra's for the school year. I've also had positions at numerous music academies in years past as well as having private students taught in both my own home and in the students' homes for 5 years. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, I have been teaching music lessons via Skype and FaceTime. I teach the Suzuki method as I believe that starting a child out with learning strict technique, but a fun learning dynamic and classic music, is something that benefits them in the long run for a musical career.  Encouraging the students every step of the way as well as pushing them to accomplish their goals is something that I strive for. Positive teaching techniques are essential and beneficial in helping students feel confident in their learning experiences.
