About
I have been playing the tabla for 46 years, and have taken my music and instruction all over the world to hundreds of students. Nowadays, I continue to play in national and international concerts and teach my students in Varanasi and Dharamshala in the Himalayas, as well as over the internet. I am often featured as a guest instructor at extended tabla workshops in various countries like U.S.A., Japan, Australia, many countries of Europe and the U.A.E.
Teaching Style
My students regard me as a mentor and life teacher, and I work hard to build relationships and knowledge that stands the tests of time and distance.
Curriculum
I teach in the tradition of Indian Classical music, which is based off of listening and imitation. No texts are necessary.
