Teaching Style

My teaching philosophy is centered on each student’s uniqueness and emotional expression. Vocal technique is an essential tool, but never the final goal — I use it as a means to help students unlock their own voice, individuality, and artistic identity. I encourage students to connect deeply with the emotions behind the music, developing both their technical foundation and their personal interpretation.

Thanks to my pedagogical training, I teach not only classical singing but also a wide range of styles, including musical theatre and other contemporary genres. I also prepare students for international exams such as ABRSM, and support their growth whether they are beginners, advanced singers, or aspiring professionals.

Curriculum

In addition to vocal instruction, I also teach music theory, harmony, ear training, solfège, and German diction (Aussprache) as independent subjects. These lessons provide students with a complete and versatile foundation, whether they are preparing for conservatory entrance exams, ABRSM examinations, or simply wish to deepen their musical understanding.

My vocal lessons are based on classical methods with a strong emphasis on breath support, resonance, articulation, and interpretation, always adapted to the student’s personal needs and goals. Repertoire may include Schirmer’s 24 Italian Songs and Arias, musical theatre anthologies, German Lieder, French Mélodies, English Art Songs, as well as opera arias and crossover works suited to the student’s vocal range. I also design personalized exercises and warm-ups that address specific technical and musical challenges.
