Hi everyone!
My name is Kate. I work mostly through the exploring the interplay of different materials. Throughout my practice, I engage with themes of fairy tales, magic, and fantasy. My artistic research revolves around natural phenomena and history. I blend digital technologies with traditional craftsmanship. Given my education in the intersection of fine arts and design, I work with shape and material freely and intuitively.
Teaching Style
I have two master's degrees in art, I can weave carpets, work with wood, print on a 3D printer, and lots of other things... :)
I don't have a teaching degree, but I love giving master classes and have always received a lot of positive feedback. I like to teach my students more like friends in a relaxed atmosphere, but still achieve our goals.
