About Me:
Hi! I’m Kateryna Dovha — a certified voice coach and music therapist with over 20 years of experience in vocal performance and education. I hold a degree in Vocal Studies from the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts (2003–2008), and I’m a certified instructor of both EVT and CVT scientific vocal methods. I’ve completed more than 20 professional training programs, including jazz improvisation with Bob Stoloff and extreme vocal training based on the Estill Voice system.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with singers of all levels — from children with cerebral palsy in a specialized school to adult performers preparing for international festivals and competitions. As the founder and head of RDVoice Vocal School (2018–2022), I created and led vocal programs, mentored teachers, and supported students in building strong and healthy voices.
I’ve also been active as a jury member for the K-pop Festival (2015–2019), developed professional development programs for voice teachers, and currently teach students worldwide in online and offline settings.
Teaching Style
My approach is grounded in scientific and body-aware vocal training. I don’t use vague phrases like “sing from your chest” or “activate support.” Instead, we focus on muscle coordination, conscious practice, and building reliable vocal skills
Each exercise targets a specific physiological goal. We analyze what works for your voice and your body — and why.
I have extensive experience working with:
• developing pitch accuracy, musical ear, and rhythm for beginners,
• building vocal control and managing breath energy in coordination with the vocal folds,
• training techniques such as belting, twang, mix, falsetto, and various forms of extreme vocal styles,
• expanding vocal range and working through vocal breaks,
• releasing tension and vocal blocks,
• technical analysis of songs, vocal arrangement, and vocal part creation,
• developing improvisation, melismatics, riffs and runs.
My lessons are not about “just singing nicely” — they’re about building a system where your voice becomes a precise, flexible, and understandable instrument.
