Kelsey Joanne Rogers

Music instructor, Kelsey Joanne Rogers, with over 7 years teaching experience, is certified and graduated from the Berklee College of Music, USA. She promotes the artistic education and development of individuals, aiding them to learn and excel in their skill set. As she is a working music professional, she aims at assisting her students to grow in multiple musical techniques and is always expanding their mindsets to think out the box. She intergrates enjoyment into her lessons and motivates through her passion for music!

 

Kelsey's experience includes performing violin from a young age in a variety of settings and genres - from solo, orchestral, band etc. She has also studied violin and piano with the likes Darol Anger,  Simon Shaheen, Rob Thomas, Isaac Melamed and Tara Blake, Moira Lo Bianco 

She started studying songwriting and composition with Berklee Online and then went to study in Boston at the Berklee College of Music where she obtained her undergraduate. Following that, she completed her Master's Degree in Writing Music for Media i.e. Film, TV, Video Games .

She is passionate about education and loves to share her work in the industry with her students!

Motivational, passionate, caring, enjoying each piece, focusing on the experience and positive mindset of the individual. Teaches according to the style of learning in which the student learns best, as she as studied many different teaching techniques and figures out the best learning style with which she uses to teach each individual separately.

Kelsey mainly teaches online, as she believes this is the best way to help the students have everything at their fingertips as well as helps them understand concepts for themselves, as opposed to the teacher facilitating their movements without their comprehension. Additionally, online learning bolsters learning styles and access to more information. Overall, Kelsey has seen her students grow in leaps and bounds. She teaches from young to adult,  on a world-wide scale.
