About

Hi, I've been teaching music full time for the past 20 years in San Francisco.  I've also been playing professionally in various band and doing studio session work for 30 plus years.  Recently I've been dabbling in film scoring and production music (music for commercials, web videos, etc)  Even more recently I've ventured into the world of online teaching and it seems like a natural fit. 

Teaching Style

I like to adapt to the student.  I've taught so many that I feel I can tell how they will learn within the first few minutes of meeting them.  Some people are very methodical and want to know music from the foundation up from the get go.   While others just want to learn how to play a few songs.  I'm fine either way :) I look forward to jamming with you in cyberspace!
