About
Hola :) I’m based in Guatemala, where I dedicate my time and energy to creating spaces for musical exploration, creativity, and human connection. My work focuses on helping people reconnect with their natural creativity through music. I believe that everyone can create and express musically, and my approach is centered on exploration, intuition, simplicity and play.
I founded the creative residency Paso a Paz for artistic and self exploration in Peten, Guatemala, through this project we bring music to nearby communities and host encounters of learning and expression since over 3 years. As well im part of FLADEM, an international music education forum, where we share techniques and experiences to nurture each other, and a facilitators processes through the latinamerican social studies foundation FLACSO
I make the road simple and easy for everyone, so what took me years, you can do it in weeks thanks to the diversity of experiences I have accumulated on sparking the music inside. Be one of the hundreds of people from all over the world that have been able to remember their inner music and start or realign their sound journey :)
Within the first minutes we will start jamming and enjoying music together no matter where you are at, come and play.
Teaching Style
My lessons are designed to help students:
• Develop confidence in their own creative voice and sounds
• Explore rhythm, sound, and musicality in an intuitive way
• Learn practical tools to create and express through music, structured and personalized at your own step
•Build a deeper connection with themselves and their environment, this way making playing with others and improvising a possible and fun thing
I work with beginners and experienced learners alike, adapting each session to the needs and interests of the student.

Alongside of teaching online, I continue to develop community-based music spaces in Guatemala.

Curriculum
I facilitate ongoing music exploration sessions at the Paso a Paz Artist Residency in Guatemala, where I guide participants through daily practices of listening, improvisation, and creative expression.
In addition, I host a weekly open music gathering for all levels, where people come together to explore, improvise, and share music in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
My teaching is rooted in experiential learning, focusing on presence, creativity, and connection rather than rigid or purely technical methods.
This methodology uses all the diversity of the knowledge, reflections, and experience with each unique person that has participated and lived what it is to share and playfully share and play music in a space where the exploration is what matters. That gives everyone an opportunity to Jam together without needing any previous specific knowledge.
My area of expertise is to create brave and comfortable spaces so we can all together go over obstacles and frustrations and do that thing we have been wanting to, we just need some time and space.
