About
About Me
Hello! I’m Gideon Obaseme Kevin, a passionate STEM educator and materials engineer based in Nigeria. With over five years of experience teaching Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Technical Drawing across top-tier schools, I specialize in transforming complex concepts into engaging, real-world learning experiences.
My background in engineering design and community leadership allows me to bring a unique, hands-on approach to education. I’ve mentored hundreds of students for WAEC, NECO, and UTME exams, and I’ve led award-winning initiatives like the Keana Spelling Bee and Mathematics Championship. Whether you're preparing for exams or simply curious about the world of STEM, I’m here to guide you with patience, creativity, and purpose.
Teaching Style
Teaching Style
My teaching style is interactive, student-centered, and deeply practical. I believe in:
- Relating theory to real-life applications to spark curiosity and retention
- Using visual aids, experiments, and simulations to reinforce understanding
- Adapting lessons to each student’s pace and goals
- Creating a safe space for questions, exploration, and growth
I also integrate elements of project-based learning and gamification to keep students motivated and engaged.
Curriculum
Teaching Method & Recommended Texts
I use a blend of national curriculum standards and custom materials tailored to each student’s needs. My lessons often include:
- WAEC/NECO/UTME prep guides
- Practical worksheets and mock exams
- Visual tools for Technical Drawing and Physics
- Interactive science experiments and revision games
I also encourage students to explore beyond the textbook—connecting STEM to everyday life, technology, and global challenges.
