About

Hello! My name is Laura. I'm an Albanian violinist, currently the Concertmaster of the Albanian Radio & Television Symphony Orchestra, a guest professor at the European University of Tirana, and an international violin soloist. I've completed my violin studies with distinction at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, under the guidance of renowned professors.

In addition to my performing career across Europe, I have several years of teaching experience, working with students of all ages and levels. My lessons focus on building a strong technical foundation, refining musical interpretation, and actually enjoying making music. I prepare students for auditions, competitions, and examinations, while also guiding dedicated amateurs who wish to deepen their enjoyment of the instrument.

My teaching philosophy combines discipline with encouragement, ensuring that each student achieves steady progress while developing a genuine connection to music.

Teaching Style

My teaching style is structured yet supportive. I focus on building a strong technical foundation — intonation, bow control, articulation, and sound production — while also encouraging musical expression from the very first lesson.

I adapt my approach to each student’s level and goals, whether they are beginners learning their first notes, advanced players preparing for competitions and auditions, or adult learners pursuing violin as a personal passion. I combine traditional exercises, scales, and etudes with the classical standard violin repertoire, ensuring that students develop both discipline and artistry.

Above all, my aim is to create a motivating and professional environment where students feel challenged, inspired, and confident in their progress, but also fully enjoy their playing.

Curriculum

My methods are tailored to each individual student. I focus on understanding their goals, learning style, and level, and then adapt my approach accordingly. For some, this may mean emphasizing fundamentals and technique, while for others it may involve preparing advanced repertoire or developing expressive interpretation. My priority is to guide every student in a way that makes their progress both effective and enjoyable.
