About
I am a pianist of over 15 years, and started teaching piano in 2018 at the Hovland Conservatory in Phoenix, AZ. More recently, I have taught private students both in person and online. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music at the UBC School of Music. My primary teacher is Terence Dawson, and I have also studied with Douglas Finch of Trinity Laban Conservatoire (London).
Teaching Style
I teach piano through a wholistic musical approach which includes rhythm, ear training, and technique. Each student is taught individually to reach musical goals in each of these areas.
Curriculum
Methods will be chosen according to the student level and learning style. Examples of method options are: Piano Adventures, Bastien, or Mikrokosmos. Additional material may be hand selected.
