About

I am a classically trained violist with extensive formal education in Europe and the United States. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Viola Performance at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary (2021–2024), following advanced secondary studies in viola and violin performance at Szent István Zeneművészeti Szakgimnázium (2017–2021) and SZTE Vántus István Zeneművészeti Szakgimnázium in Szeged (2016–2017).

I continued my graduate-level studies in the United States as a Master’s degree viola student at the Bard College Conservatory of Music (August 2024 – January 2025) and am currently enrolled in the Graduate Certificate Program in Viola at the University of Southern California (USC) Thornton School of Music (August 2025–present).

I am an active performing violist with experience in orchestral, chamber, and studio settings since 2020, including performances and professional work in Europe, the United States, Japan, and Saudi Arabia.

Teaching Style

I have experience teaching violin and viola to beginner and intermediate students in private lesson settings. I have worked with students of different ages, focusing on building strong technical foundations, healthy posture, intonation, and musical awareness. My teaching experience includes one-on-one instruction both online and in person, adapting lessons to each student’s individual goals, whether for hobby playing, school music programs, or audition preparation.

Curriculum

My lessons are highly individualized and adapted to each student’s learning style, technical level, and musical goals. I place strong emphasis on proper posture, relaxed technique, sound production, intonation, and efficient practice habits.

Depending on the student’s level, I incorporate standard pedagogical materials such as Ševčík, Wohlfahrt, Kreutzer, and selected scale systems, as well as age-appropriate repertoire. I aim to create a supportive and structured learning environment that helps students progress confidently and enjoy the learning process.

Credentials & Affiliations

My professional background includes experience in orchestral and chamber music performance, studio recordings, and masterclasses with internationally recognized artists such as Nobuko Imai, Christian Euler, Kristina Fialová, Peter Bársony, Gábor Takács-Nagy, and Barnabás Kelemen.

I have collaborated in symphonic and string orchestra projects, including professional environments connected to The Concertgebouw Orchestra, and have gained additional experience in concert production and stage management during performances at Bard College.
