About

Unlock Your Voice — with a Teacher Who’s Been There

With over 40 years as a professional opera singer, I’ve had the joy and privilege of performing around the world and sharing the stage with legends like Joan Sutherland, Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo, Grace Bumbry, Joyce DiDonato, Renée Fleming, and Cornell MacNeil. My training comes from some of the finest voice teachers in the world — Armen Boyajian, Tom LoMonaco, Mignon Dunn, and Arthur Levy — and I bring their legacy of knowledge and discipline into every lesson.

But while I cherish my career, nothing inspires me more than teaching.

Helping a student discover a sound they never thought possible, or reach a note they’ve struggled with for years — that’s the real magic. My mission is simple: your growth. I tailor each session to your voice, your goals, and your unique musical path. We’ll combine deep knowledge of vocal technique with a spirit of joyful discovery, building a foundation that’s as empowering as it is practical.

Whether you're preparing for the world’s biggest stages or simply want to find your truest voice, I’m here to help you get there — one breath, one note, one breakthrough at a time.

Teaching Style

I teach: Pop, R&B, Musical theater, Jazz, Classical, Country, Rap, Opera, Rock, Gospel

Curriculum

With a new student, I begin by sharing my core philosophy of singing and take time to understand their current perception of what good singing truly involves — including fundamentals like breath control, support, and tone production. I also make it a priority to learn about their personal goals, whether they’re looking to sing more confidently for their own enjoyment, contribute to a choir, or pursue a professional singing career.
