Reviews from Another Lesson Platform
Louise is wonderful! Very professional and a good communicator.
If you’re looking for the best vocal coach, here she is. Louise is AMAZING! I have had two lessons with her and I already feel like I have learned so soooo much. 1-She’s super efficient. She uses every single second in the lessons and that’s something I love. 2- Super nice. She’s super friendly and will make you feel extremely comfortable during the lesson. 3- She’s really good at explaining. I understand everything she explains in her lessons. 4- She’s the full package. I’m learning to sing in a musical theater style and not only those she teach the vocal methods but also teaches you the acting portion. How to apply emotion into your singing. 5- Adapts to you and your voice. If something isn’t working, no problem, she will find another way to explain it or find another vocal exercises that helps you understand the concept better and that helps you move forward. 100% recommend.
She is awesome.
Louise was great! She made my daughter feel comfortable during the lessons and more confident going into her performance this weekend!! Thank you Louise!
I've enjoyed learning getting better strengthening my vocals
I love Louise. she is helping me with intonation, pitch, sight singing, ear training. I mostly sing with a church choir but her instruction has really helped me.
Louis is a wonderful teacher and is extremely patient (which is wonderful since this is my first time trying to sing). She makes her instructions clear and helps me understand (and breaks it down if I don't). She is an absolute joy to work with.
Louise was so patient with me and made me feel very comfortable.
Louis is a great teacher very patient teacher. She has a ton of experience and is an absolute pleasure to work with.
Ms Louise is nice and helpful. She knows how to help me improve my voice. This is my first lesson and it was a great experience.
She's so patient and understanding! Looking forward to seeing what we will accomplish
Responsive to my needs and encouraging.
Louise is an amazing teacher that can really help you reach your goals.
It was wonderful! She was very pleasant and helpful. I need to get back to singing in choir and will need quite a bit of practice to get back there. I need her help to practice effectively.
Louise is a 5 star coach who helps her students reach their goals and potential. My grandson has improved hand over fist since taking lessons from Louise. I can't wait to report how he does in auditions as he prepares for the school play later this month! Louise you ROCK!
Louise listened to what I wanted to learn and was prepared for the first lesson. She made me feel at ease immediately, and I am looking forward to our next lesson.
I just started singing lessons, earlier this year, wanting to learn more about singing in the style of crooning (e.g., Michael Buble'). While I had sung in the past, I didn't fully understand my range. Louise not only helped me discover my range, but build on it. She's incredibly caring and patient and has taught me breathing techniques, warm-up exercises, and helped me up my confidence. Louise is, without question, one of the best teachers I've ever had worked with. If you're considering singing lessons, consider enrolling with Elise. The lesson are fun, informative, and supportive. She provides an incredibly positive learning environment.
I find Louise a very good teacher. Her instructions are clear and practical. She gives helpful feedback while encouraging your progress. It’s been a fun process.
Louise is probably the most patient and caring instructor I’ve ever had. She has taught me how to utilize my voice properly in a healthy manner. As a slow learner, she takes her time to explain things, while also using diagrams and visual examples. She goes the extra mile to make me feel as comfortable as possible, and I would not have been able to achieve as much as I have without her. Thank you for being my very first vocal coach, and for showing me all the cool things I can do with my voice!
I have worked with Louise for nearly a year now and she is amazing! Her approach to teaching has been fantastic as I had no background in singing or vocals. She breaks down concepts in a few different ways to help me understand the techniques, feelings/sensations, acoustic space, and posture. I would highly recommend Louise to anyone despite their level. She is amazing at meeting you where you are at in your skill, and then pushing you to the next level!
Louise is a phenomenal teacher. She is incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Over the past few months, Louise has helped me prepare for auditions and strengthen my voice. I could not be happier with my progress and I look forward to each lesson I have with Louise.
Louise is a phenomenal teacher. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a keen ear to help them develop a stronger voice that is more connected to the body. 10/10, would recommend to a friend.
Louise has massively helped me in building confidence in my voice. I love how her lessons always include a proper warm-up as well as technique training, and I feel like she has given me all the tools for singing sustainably. She's also a great teacher of music theory and finds ways of incorporating it into her lessons. Most importantly, she is the kindest person ever!
We absolutely love Louise! Our 10 year old daughter is taking lessons with the hopes of getting into our local musical theater. Louise is kind, patient and so encouraging. We've noticed so much improvement in our daughter's singing since we started. She looks forward to the lessons and her confidence has grown exponentially. Louise is a true professional and incredibly talented. We're lucky to have found her.
Louise is great! Very focused on her student and interested in their progress.
My daughter loves her! She looks forward to her lessons and actually practices.
Louise is a wonderful teacher! As a beginner with no former voice training, it really helps to have someone patient and understanding. I look forward to our lessons every week and it always makes my day so much better. I can’t wait to learn new things and see where it takes me! I have already learned so much in just a few weeks! I recommend Louise to anyone wanting to further their voice training or even just as a fun activity to add to their life!
Louise is fantastic. She is patient, listens and is always prepared and timely. She is encouraging and supportive and always positive with a smile. I am decades wise and never had voice lessons. She is working out great for me. She is always provided youtube video's so that I can practice and grow in between weekly lessons. You should give her a try!
I have absolutely enjoyed working with Louise. I haven’t sung in a very long time so before each lesson I get anxious about singing in front of someone again, but she is incredibly nice and is super helpful.
Louise is an amazing, patient, & knowledgeable teacher. If you’re hesitant about taking lessons with her ease your worry because you won’t regret it!
Patient and kind. She saw my issues immediately. She's an amazing teacher.
Louise is simply an outstanding teacher. She knows exactly whats she doing and guides me in detail and with clarity. I feel so lucky to have found her.
I've only had three lessons so far, but already Louise has helped me to develop a brighter sound, expand my range, and relax while singing. My voice would often feel strained when I sang, but now singing feels as natural as speaking. Louise is a true professional.
Louise is amazing. she really knows her stuff and she is so nice and you will hear progress without having to even understanding why, just do what she says and make the noises she says to make. you just suddenly sound better. its rare to find someone that dedicated to helping you improve and that capable of understanding what your voice needs. bless this woman, thank you for everything.
Louise is a great teacher. she is very patient and can appreciate goals for each individual voices. thanks very much!
I’ve took singing classes with Louise and she is very kind and helpful and makes her classes really fun! She has helped me a lot with my singing and become more confident with my singing voice. She has helped me a lot with breath control which I used to struggle with.
My daughter was incredibly nervous about taking the lesson and was even in tears. After the lesson, my daughter had a huge smile. She said that Ms. Louise was "so wonderful," and she really enjoyed the class.
Great lessons on singing placement, breath support, dynamics, and correcting pitch.
Love the detailed corrections on singing technique as well as dynamics.
Louise is the best singing instructor that my daughter has had the pleasure of working with! She is so patient and thorough, and she has really helped my daughter come a long way.
Louise was very helpful for my daughter and her special needs. Louise is very patient and is always encouraging. My daughter gained confidence in her singing ability and helped her enjoy singing again.
Mrs. Gast is an amazing vocal instructor. She taught me breath control and vocal placement witch is some of the big things I struggled with. She helped me to achieve many goals such as winning region for best in a one act play. She has helped shape and mold my voice to be the best it can be. There is no better instructor out there!!!!
Louise was an amazing vocal instructor. She helped me improve my overall tone, increase my breath support, learn sight singing, and she spent ages working on helping me feel more confident. To this day, I recall her lessons as I sing for my local worship team.
Excellent, excellent, excellent! She relates very well and determines what is the best way to learn. I couldn’t be more pleased with the fundamentals she teaches and then how she builds on that foundation!
Louise is extremely talented and a joy to learn from. She has a beautiful voice and spirit. Her teaching style is easy to understand and she is so patient. Highly recommend.

Curriculum
I do not subscribe to particular method as I am able to sing and teach in a large variety of styles. I do use elements of "Bel Canto Can Belto," focusing on switching between Western Classical singing styles and contemporary singing techniques. I teach based on the goals of each student, but always prioritize range, register coordination, and flexibility. I encourage students to study music theory and sight singing with me if that is something they are interested in pursuing. For younger students, I use the "Full Voice" curriculum.
