About

Welcome to my online piano lessons.

I am a professional piano teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience and 25+ as a piano player. I share my piano experience and knowledge like technique improvement, practice tips, proper fingering, music reading, good posture and many more!

Originally from Poland, I began my musical education at the Karol Szymanowski State Music School in Katowice in the piano class of professor Anna Górecka. I continued my studies at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music, where I completed my bachelor and master degree under professor Zbigniew Raubo. Subsequently I moved to Vancouver, Canada where I have been mentored by professor Lee Kum Sing at the Vancouver Academy of Music which I graduated with distinction in 2019.

In 2014 I was the very first to receive the Krystian Zimerman Award for most talented young pianists. In October 2015 I advanced to the second round of the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland. This achievement placed me among the world’s top 30 best young pianists. In October 2017 I won the Vancouver International Music Competition held to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday. I received the Platinum Cash Prize and numerous additional prizes.

From the early years of my career, I have been recognized at numerous prestigious piano competitions. In 2008 I won First Prize and the Special Award of Elżbieta Stefańska for the best performance of a Bach work at the 10th Ludwik Stefański and Halina Czerny Stefańska Piano Competition in Płock, Poland. I later received Second Prize at the 16th Polish Piano Competition in Konin, Poland and Third Prize at the International Podkarpacki Chopin Competition in Rzeszów, Poland. In both 2013 and 2015 I earned Third Prize at the National Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland.

My discography includes three albums released between 2013 and 2015. My debut recording, issued by the Kler Foundation, features Chopin’s Piano Concerto in F minor, Op. 21, commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Kler Company. My second album, recorded live at the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio S1 in Warsaw, presents a rare live performance of Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2. My third recording is devoted entirely to Chopin’s solo piano works.
