About

My name is Maciej Błaszkowiak. I am a graduate of the Academy of Music in Poznań, where I studied Jazz and Popular Music. Starting in September, I will continue my education at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the master’s program.

I have been playing guitar since the age of 10. I started with blues, rock, and metal, and over time I also discovered jazz and improvised music. I have developed my skills under the guidance of Wojciech Hoffmann, Dawid Kostka, Jakub Mizeracki, Daan Kleijn, and Jack Gardiner.

Currently, I perform in a wide variety of ensembles – from original projects to cover bands. I have had the opportunity to perform with Turbo as well as in the solo project of Wojciech Hoffmann. In addition, I am actively engaged in teaching guitar, which gives me great satisfaction. I have experience working with students of all ages and skill levels.

Teaching Style

I love sharing my passion for music through teaching. I have experience working with students of all ages and skill levels, whether you’re picking up the guitar for the first time or looking to refine your style. My lessons are always tailored to your musical goals and interests.

Curriculum

In my lessons, you will learn how to:

  • play songs by your favorite artists,

  • develop your guitar technique correctly,

  • master chords, scales, and the basics of improvisation,

  • read tablature and standard notation,

  • understand music theory, rhythm, and feel comfortable in different musical styles (pop, rock, metal, jazz, and more…).

For each student, I prepare an individual lesson plan tailored to their skills and interests.
