Maral Mohammadian
About
I have studied TEFL in IKIU in Iran (2016-2020), and I have taught English in Lmap online institute (2017-2019). I have been involved with music for over twenty years (2005-), with a strong interest in music theory, playing Iranian instruments and piano, and vocal studies.
I've studied Tar and Setar (2005-2015), Piano (2015-2017), and singing (2020-)
I've performed in two concerts in Vahdat hall, as Tar player (Homayoun Khorram Festival-2014) and soprano choir member (Belcanto Choir-2019). I've had solo singing performances in Haydeh Changizian Museum (2024), Goriz venue (2024, 2025), and Nemaud venue (2025).
I've taught music theory for two years and half as a private lesson tutor. I bring a clear, structured approach and a deep understanding of the learning process as an active student myself. I focus on clarity, patience, and building solid foundations for beginners.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is calm, structured, and student-centered. I aim to create a non-judgmental learning environment where questions are welcome and mistakes are part of the process. I adapt the pace of each lesson to the student’s needs, focusing on clarity, understanding, and steady progress rather than pressure or perfection.
Curriculum
My teaching method is structured and beginner-friendly, focusing on clear explanations and gradual understanding of music theory concepts. Lessons include listening examples, discussion, and simple exercises. I provide short PDF materials when needed and may recommend free online resources for additional practice. No textbooks are required.
