Marco Mondragón

Hi! I’m Marco, from Mexico City. I’m passionate about music—especially jazz—and I enjoy being useful and sharing my knowledge with others. I teach guitar, jazz, ear training, and music theory  and I have over two years of experience doing so in group, individual, in-person and online formats, both privately and in a local music school called Struttin' Jazz Lab. 

As to my educational background, I hold a B.A in Jazz Studies (2017-2021), with a focus on Electric Guitar Performance, from the University of North Texas and the Liceu Conservatory (Barcelona).

My approach is flexible and practical, rooted in jazz pedagogy but not overly methodical, and always tailored to the student's needs.
