🎵 Opera Singing Lessons with Margherita Rotondi

Mezzo-soprano born in Bari, Margherita Rotondi graduated with highest honors from the Conservatorio di Bari and earned her Master’s Degree in Baroque Singing with 110 cum laude and special mention from the Conservatorio di Ferrara.

She further refined her studies at the Accademia del Belcanto «Rodolfo Celletti» within the prestigious Festival della Valle d’Itria, where she was awarded the Prize of Excellence and made her debut as Arnalta in Monteverdi’s L’Incoronazione di Poppea.

She is the First Prize winner of the International Opera Singing Competition “Federico II” and recipient of the Rotary Prize at the International Competition “Maria Caniglia” in Sulmona.

Her operatic career has led her to perform leading roles in important theaters and festivals, including Opéra de Chambre de Genève, the Teatro Carlo Felice, the Teatro Olimpico, and the Teatro Petruzzelli, as well as Tokyo Concert Hall and the Opera Rara Festival in Kraków.

She has collaborated with internationally renowned conductors and artists, including Claudio Cavina and Bryn Terfel, performing roles such as Cherubino, Dorabella, Nerone, Penelope, Meg Page, and many others.

Alongside her operatic career, she is deeply dedicated to chamber vocal music, giving recitals in Italy and abroad, including concerts at the Philharmonie Berlin and the Laeiszhalle Hamburg. She is also the performer of the CD Canzoni di un lungo viaggio, released by Docilune.
