Marie Halcrow

I specialize in vocal performance, music theory, piano improvisation, & music production! Started learning by ear as a young kid (4) when my parents bought a piano, and began my classical training journey at six, and at seventeen set out to work and build an academic career in music. I've been teaching private and group lessons to students of all ages and musical backgrounds for a little over 10 years.  I am passionate about food, travel, & the arts, and I’m always looking for opportunities to connect. Lessons with me are student-centric, focusing on classical foundation in all fields and placing strong emphasis on accommodating individual students' specific ambitions. Strong stage presence, deeper understanding of blending & breath support, and a sharper ear for intuitive learning are all skills you can expect to develop with me. Striving to make music in every lesson, and song motivated lesson plans that make learning memorable and entertaining are tenets I hold near and dear.
