My professional journey in music began in 1996 in Panama City, FL. Over nearly 30 years, I have evolved into a verified recording artist on Spotify, Tidal, and Apple Music. My career is defined by the intersection of performance and production; I am currently engaged in a 10-song Americana album cycle, tracking and mixing in my studio. This long-term commitment to the "Artist-Philosopher" path allows me to bring a depth of real-world experience to my students that goes far beyond standard method books.
Teaching Style
My style is patient and adaptive, rooted in my background as a professional curriculum designer. I specialize in a "Song-First" methodology, where technical theory is taught through the lens of the music the student actually loves. Having taught over 100 students at Awesome Music in Lynn Haven, FL—including specialized work with blind and non-verbal autistic students—I pride myself on my ability to pivot my instruction to meet any learner's specific needs and pace.
Curriculum
My instructional method is entirely customized, centered on high-fidelity interaction and digital tablature. Using a professional Rode NT1A studio microphone, I ensure my students hear every note and nuance with clarity. I do not believe in forcing students into outdated, generic textbooks. Instead, I leverage my professional background in curriculum design to build a bespoke learning path for every individual. I create custom-designed PDF modules, chord charts, and exercises for each student based specifically on their current skill level and their ultimate musical goals, providing a structured, professional framework for practice between lessons.

My formal foundation includes five years of vocal and show choir training, followed by two years of intensive private guitar study under Sonny Wolf at B&H Music.
