Hi, I’m Mbali Rose! I help singers build confidence in their voice by strengthening their foundation in effective and supportive technique, unlocking the potential they know they’ve always had.

I’m a passionate vocal coach, certified through the renowned 1108 Vocal Studio in Nashville, Tennessee, with whom I started training with over a year ago. In addition to vocal coaching I have a background in classical piano, with over 10 years of training and years of previous experience as a choir leader. At the end of last year, I was selected to participate in the Beyond Busking Program by the Cape Town Arts Festival, that provided hands-on experience in songwriting certification (through the Cape Town School of Songwriting), vocal training, guitar training, stage presence, and recording original music. I also have experience performing at various local music venues around Nashville and Cape Town both as a featured artist and casually at open mic nights and songwriters rounds. Examples of venues I have performed at as a featured artist include Honeytree Meadery in Nashville and the Vegan Goods Market in Cape Town. All these experiences have given me a unique blend of skills that I bring to every lesson. 

My teaching approach emphasizes various aspects of singing, including vocal technique and empowering students to perform confidently, whether they’re singing solo, playing an instrument, or crafting their own songs.

I have a deep love for music and a strong passion for inspiring others. I tailor each session to fit my students' individual needs and goals. As someone who has personally overcome challenges with confidence, I prioritize helping my students break through emotional roadblocks and find joy in expressing themselves fully.
