Mercedes Violin

I am a professional violinist from Argentina, with more than 15 years of experience, especially in the Tango genre. I was a member of numerous orchestras and companies with which I toured the US, Mexico, Brazil, Paraguay, Spain, Italy, England, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Germany. I also formed and am part of the most notable tango houses in Buenos Aires.

I had Alberto Varady, Julio Graña and Luis Roggero as teachers. I am currently studying with Sergio Polizzzi

Recordings
I participated as a session musician recording for countless artists including Nito Mestre, Lidia Borda, Pedro Aznar, Ismael Serrano, Orquesta Típica Sans Souci, Orquesta Típica Misteriosa Buenos Aires, among others.

In our classes we will incorporate the necessary tools to be able to master the instrument with solvency, awareness and fluency. We will immerse ourselves in the exciting genre of Tango, learning the style in depth, incorporating the technical bases of the genre: markings, effects, diversity of phrasing as well as studying and learning the different ways of interpreting that the most important orchestras had (Darienzo, Troilo, Pugliese, Di Sarli, Piazzolla, among others).
