About

I’m a singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist with over a decade of experience releasing music, touring internationally, and working with companies like BMG, Sony, and Universal Production Music. I’ve released several albums, reached the German charts, performed on national TV, and built long-term careers under multiple artist projects, including Michael Lane, Slow Rush, Boy of Sleep, and The Fold. My work has gathered millions of streams, and I’ve collaborated with artists and writers from a wide range of genres. Alongside my artist career, I’ve worked for years as a songwriting and music-production coach, helping beginners and advanced musicians shape their sound, structure their ideas, and finish their songs with confidence.

Teaching Style

My teaching style is relaxed, clear, and collaborative. I work with you in real time, breaking things down without jargon and focusing on what you’re trying to express as an artist. Every session is conversational — we listen, experiment, and adjust together. I don’t force a strict formula; instead, I guide you toward understanding why certain musical or production choices work so you can confidently apply them on your own. I balance creativity with structure and always keep the atmosphere supportive, honest, and practical.

Curriculum

I use a project-based, hands-on method. Each student works on real songs or productions from the very first session. We move through idea development, songwriting structure, arrangement, recording technique, sound design, vocal production, and mixing in a logical order, always tied to your own music. I screen-share, work inside your DAW with you, demonstrate techniques, and explain the musical reasoning behind every change. Sessions end with clear next steps so you always know what to work on before the next lesson.
