About
Hi everyone! My name is Natalie, I'm an experienced vocal coach with a Bachelors degree in Singing (Pop Music). I moved from the Netherlands to Kenya in 2007. Here, I founded and developed a groundbreaking Artist Development program; Sauti Academy, which transformed the Kenyan live music industry. I volunteered teaching music workshops in prison and the slums of Nairobi, helped talented singers from humble background develop successful music careers (with Grammy success!), coached professional artists through multiple city stadium tours, stayed with the Masai, swam in the Indian Ocean, learned to speak Swahili fluently and had two amazing children. We now live in the Netherlands.
Teaching Style
I will teach you to sing freely, from your heart.
We will talk about your goals. And whether you'd like to just sing for fun, or pursue a professional career, I create a safe space so that you can express yourself freely. You are welcome if you have never sung before, I'll take you through the basics, exercises and help you find your voice.
Singers are story tellers, and to be a good story teller in music it's important to be connected to your emotions. I teach technique based on the Complete Vocal Technique method by Catherin Sadolin.

Curriculum
Natalie is an insightful, experienced and kind coach. Her vocal knowledge and technique is extensive. My vocal capacity and awareness of various techniques has grown significantly. I appreciate her passion for her students well-being too. Her application of her life coaching skills are felt during our sessions. She enables me to ground myself during the sessions and explore my emotional experiences safely.
Natalie is amazing, she is a wonderful Coach, connects very well with her students ( of all ages), she puts her heart to the music, calls the greatness out of the student and walks the talk, she's for keeps, keep it up Coach!
Natalie has worked so well with my daughter, who in her previous school was bullied and lost her confidence. Natalie has helped bring her out of her shell and shine.
Natalie is a fantastic music teacher with a great energy and compassion for her students. The atmosphere is fun and encouraging. My daughter has progressed and developed confidence in performing in public. The highlight was the wonderful end of year concert with all students performing.
