Natasha Tasić-Knežević – Opera Soloist & Vocal Coach

I am a soloist of the Serbian National Theatre Opera and a classically trained opera singer with a deep love for connecting music and the human voice. Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked with singers of all levels — from complete beginners to aspiring professionals.

Several of my students have gone on to study at prestigious institutions, including the Berklee College of Music.

As a vocal pedagogue, I have collaborated with Studio Novi Teatar on acclaimed musical productions such as Chicago, Sweeney Todd, American Burlesque, and Milky Way, helping actors and singers shape authentic and powerful performances.

Beyond the stage, I’ve led vocal workshops for Romani children and children with developmental differences, including those with Down syndrome — using music to support clearer speech and greater confidence.

My teaching blends classical technique with emotional depth, encouraging every student to find their unique voice — whether on stage or online.

Teaching Style

My musical journey includes classical training, jazz exploration, musical theatre, traditional Balkan (ethno) vocals, and even symphonic metal. This broad experience helps me understand and support each student’s unique voice, no matter their preferred style. I tailor my lessons based on each student’s goals, voice type, and musical interests — creating a safe and inspiring space to grow as a singer and performer.

Curriculum

My teaching method is rooted in the belief that every voice is unique — and that every singer deserves a space where they feel free, supported, and inspired.I combine classical vocal technique with elements from jazz, musical theatre, ethno-traditional singing, and even symphonic metal — helping students explore a wide emotional and stylistic range.

Whether you’re preparing for auditions, developing your repertoire, exploring new genres, or just beginning your vocal journey, I tailor each lesson to your voice, needs, and goals.

I work with students of all levels and ages — from children and beginners to professionals.

With young learners, I use music games, imagery, and playful exercises to awaken the natural voice and build healthy habits with joy.

For adults, I focus on vocal freedom, breath support, resonance, interpretation, and emotional connection — always respecting your tempo and personality.
