Natawat 'Nat' Saralamba
About
Hailing from vibrant Bangkok and now based in Boston, I’m a guitarist, singer-songwriter, touring artist, and music educator passionate about connecting people through music.
Honored with the Season Awards (Thailand’s equivalent of the Grammys) and recognized as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition, I’ve performed extensively across the U.S. and Asia. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of sharing stages and collaborating with legendary artists including Parliament-Funkadelic, Ernie Isley (The Isley Brothers), Ronny Munroe (Trans-Siberian Orchestra / Metal Church), BJ Zampa (Dokken), Jeff Howell (Foghat / The Outlaws), Winger, and members of Starship.
Alongside my performance career, I’m deeply committed to music education. As Assistant Director of Bands (Instrumental) at Boston School of Music Arts and an experienced private instructor, I teach guitar, voice, bass, ukulele, and piano to students of all ages and levels. My approach focuses on developing not just technical proficiency, but musical expression, creativity, and confidence—guiding students from their first notes to live performance readiness. I also arrange music, direct ensembles, and mentor emerging musicians to help them find their unique voice.
A graduate of Berklee College of Music, I continue to perform, write, record, and teach, with a mission to inspire others and build meaningful connections through music—on stage, in the studio, and in the classroom.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is practical, supportive, and tailored to each student’s goals. As an active touring guitarist and singer, I focus on real-world skills that help students become confident, expressive musicians—not just memorize exercises.
Lessons are personalized based on your interests. Whether you want to learn your favorite songs, improve technique, develop your voice, understand music theory, or write original music, I’ll create a clear and structured path to help you progress efficiently.
I emphasize strong fundamentals, ear training, timing, and musical feel, while keeping lessons engaging and enjoyable. I also help students build confidence in performance, improvisation, and creative expression.
My experience as a Berklee College of Music graduate, former Warner Music Thailand recording artist, and touring musician allows me to share professional insights that go beyond textbooks.
My goal is simple: help you grow faster, enjoy the process, and become the musician you want to be.
