Nathan Greenberg

Hello! I'm a professional guitarist, performing and recording music in NYC. I've been playing guitar for over 20 years, and have been teaching for more than 10. I've taught hundreds of students, and love having the opportunity to help people learn and master the guitar. All ages, levels, and genres are welcome!

I've been in NYC since 2019, and regularly perform as a guitarist with various bands and artists - some of the places I've played include JetLAG Festival in Downsville, NY (2021-23), and the Théâtre Plaza in Montreal (2024). I've also produced several albums with my band You Want Milk, and have written music for short animations. I've been teaching privately since 2013, and also teach at music schools such as School of Rock in New York (2021-present).

The best lessons are when you are learning to play the music that excites you the most. Our lessons plans will include your favorite songs, and be based on your level and learning style. If you're a beginner, we'll start with the basics of guitar and get you playing straight away. If you're more advanced, we can go over topics such as music theory, songwriting, and more advanced guitar techniques (building speed, fingerpicking, complex chords, etc).
