Nemanja Mitrovic

I have began my studies at L'aula del Liceu y Berklee in Barcelona, Spain. After finishing my 3rd year I moved to Belgrade to work in the National Theatre for couple of years on various projects, including production.

During this time I started teaching private lessons and also in groups up to 7 people.

Main focus of my teaching is improvisation and music development from any level.

I have done my Bachelor degree at Vienna Koservatorium in Vienna.  During this period I was lead guitarist/composer/arranger for The Frustrations band on their album Ether.

Member of the AKM[austrian national composer assocciation] from 2019.

After that, I have finished Jazz Guitar Master studies at Hochschule fur Musik und Theater in Munich with Prof. Peter O'Mara. I became a member of VMTA in 2020.

I have been giving private lessons since 2009, having students from Brisbane to Vienna. Also I was preparing students for entrance exams at Berklee College of Music(Boston).

Released my first original album this year Page One Liberi,available on all major music platforms.

The song is our classroom. Working through the standards ,we are working on all musical elements and improvisation. With many students I found that often it is necessary to go a step back to move forward. I try to cover both theory and guitar skills.

While the guitar is something we live with our whole lives and it takes time to make serious progress some things can be done instantly. I try to do both and give my best to pass on the knowledge and love for music.
