Teaching Style
I believe that lessons are a learning process for both the student and the teacher. Each student has their own learning style. My primary goal is to work together with the student to successfully derive an instructional plan that will uncover the student's greatest potential and meet the students individual goals. Keeping each student’s individuality in focus when planning lessons, minimizes student frustration and allows the enjoyment of playing to surface. With the right guidance, music is attainable by anyone in any stage of their lives. Sharing music with others is a fulfilling experience that everyone should be involved in!
Students of all ages and skill levels are welcome! Students focus on rhythm, ear training and the geography of their instrument. Students then focus on setting up a solid foundation of technique and understanding of the music being played. Having a solid understanding of what is being played, as well as the ability to effectively portray this on your instrument, opens up a more rewarding and effective experience with music. which allows you to easily explore your favorite music!
