Nightingale Ngo
About
Nightingale Ngo, NCTM, started piano studies at age of 3 when she began picking out tunes at the piano by ear. Her mother was her first teacher.
Ms. Ngo studied piano and organ at Texas Christian University, then went on to graduate school at the University of Miami, where she graduated with a Master of Music and Master of Arts.
Her teachers include Dr. Rosalina Sackstein, John Owings, Dr. H. Joseph Butler (organ) and Peggy Neighbors Erwin. For voice, she studied with Jana Young, Aija Shrader, and currently studies with Arielle Jacobs.
Ms. Ngo is active in the Music Teachers National Association and the National Federation of Music Clubs and their local chapters. Additionally, she has served on the boards of their local organizations, and is currently on the board of the Coral Gables Music Club. Ms. Ngo is also the chairperson of Florida Federation of Music Club’s evaluations for Royal Poinciana South district. Her students actively participate in competitions and evaluations through these and other nationally recognized organizations. She is also a Steinway Educational Partner.
Ms. Ngo is nationally professionally certified (NCTM) in piano with the Music Teachers National Association.
She enjoys sharing her love and knowledge of music with students of all ages!
