About

Hi, my name is Nikola. I am a professional accordionist with a Master’s degree in Classical Accordion from the ‘Giueseppe Tartini’ Conservatory in Trieste, Italy. I furthered my professional development through a distinguished teaching internship at the ‘Johann Joseph Fux’ Konservatorium in Graz, Austria. Currently based in Austria, I continue to shape my career both as a performer and an educator.

My musical journey has been recognized through top awards at numerous competitions across Europe: “Zvezdane Staze” - Kragujevac, Serbia “Akkordeon Fest” - Graz, Austria, International Competition of Accordionists “Pannoniaccordion” - Murska Sobota, Slovenia, “Harmonika Fest” - Tivat, Montenegro “Eufonija”- Novi Sad, Serbia etc., winning Absolute first prizes. One of the most important achievements is the World championship - Laureate title, awarded at the Trophee Mondial in Rodez, France in 2017.

Beyond academic work and professional achievements, I’ve performed extensively across Europe at concerts, festivals, and masterclasses, collaborating with and learning from world-renowned accordion artists and educators such as pr. M. Bjeletić (Serbia), pr. V. Vasović (Serbia), V. Kujala (Finland), G. Dragsvoll (Denmark), O. Douyez (Belgium), F. Deschamps (France) and one of the  most famous accordion composers of our time Vajčeslav Semionov (Russia).

Teaching Style

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, if you're here, it probably means you’re looking for support in some aspect of your musical journey. With a playing experience of over 18 years and the experience of private tutoring of children and youth at Music School in the Old Royal Capital of Montenegro and distinguished teaching internship at the ‘Johann Joseph Fux’ Konservatorium in Graz, Austria, I offer a study program focused on versatile soloist development across different genres and eras, for beginners and advanced no matter the age.

Drawing from years of experience on the international scene, I’ve developed a personalized teaching approach aimed at inspiring a deep, genuine connection with this instrument.

The goal is to build a solid musical foundation through focused work on:

  • Proper instrument and body posture
  • Technique of right and left hand
  • Adaptation to different fingering styles
  • Bellows control
  • Sight reading skills
  • Solfeggio

I look forward to welcoming you to my online classroom!
