About
I am an Italian clarinetist and I live in Rome. I graduated in clarinet in the conservatory of Cagliari under the guidance of R. Marroccu and Versailles-Paris under the guidance of P. Cuper (principal clarinet at Opera Paris).I attended master classes with C. Palermo, A. Carbonare, P. Messina.
I won important international competitions such as the Valentino Bucchi prize and I collaborated with the Rome Opera House, the Lyric Theater of Cagliari, the National Academy of Santa Cecilia, MOZART Orchestra by C. Abbado.
Since 2008 I am the principal clarinet at the Italian Police National Band with which I performed in important theaters such as, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Academy of Santa Cecilia Rome, Teatro Manzoni Bologna, Teatro Regio Torino, Teatro Lirico in Cagliari, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence.
Teaching Style
The lessons will be customized according to the level of preparation: beginner, intermediate or advanced. We will work on researching the Bel Suono, the technique, the studies (magnani, Lefevre, Klose, Uhl, Baermann, JeanJean, Kovacs, Marasco, Stark, Rose), the solo and chamber music repertoire, orchestral extracts and original band music . We can work on Italian composer( Rossini,Donizetti, Mercadante, Cavallini, Bassi, Della Giacoma, Busoni, Rota, Donatoni, Bucchi, Berio, Mangani and Italian music. We can prepare a competition or audition together.
We will have fun discovering the potential of the clarinet.
