I also am a specialist in Latin-American music and give classes in:

- Salsa (arranging/performing/composing)

- Argentine Tango (arranging/composing/performing/transcribing)

Living in Argentina for the last 6 years, I have worked professionally with numerous tango orchestras, salsa and timba orchestras, composed for folklore/salsa/funk/tango and classical ensembles and performed as bandoneonist, saxophonist, and flautist in many of Buenos Aires and the world's best concert halls. I love making music and I want to share this knowledge and passion with you!

Teaching Style

The role of a teacher is to help students in their learning journey. I am here to help you unpick problems, to inspire you to keep working, to show you what the next steps might be, to set reasonable goals, and to help you keep motivated through struggles and successes.

In my many years of experience as a teacher and as a working professional musician, I understand what it is like to learn at every stage of the musical journey. I feel that it is very important to work on a goal-based learning program, so that the skills and technique you are learning serve a clear purpose and can be used to make music from the very beginning. Learning is a process and in order to be successful it needs to be interesting and fun.

As your teacher, I will be here to help you on this journey and to make it an enjoyable experience.

Curriculum

I have a lot of resources at my disposal and these vary depending on what you want to study. In my students, I work to inspire a culture of self-motivated learning as discovery. We can only enjoy learning when we find the topic interesing and the rate of learning both challenging and manageable. As such, each student's needs will dictate the resources that we use. Some students will want to work quickly and others will prefer to consolidate their learning as they go. This will decide what resources we access.
