About

Hello! My name is Pavlo, and I am a classical and fingerstyle guitarist, arranger, and dedicated music teacher with over 13 years of experience.

I specialize in fingerstyle guitar and have a strong foundation in classical music, which allows me to combine refined technique with expressive modern playing. I currently teach at a public music school in Hanover, Germany, and I’m always excited to work with new students from around the world through online lessons.

I began teaching guitar at the age of 17, and since then I’ve worked with students of all levels and ages. I spent four years studying music and classical guitar in Dnipro, Ukraine, with a focus on performance and pedagogy. After that, I continued my musical education in Hanover, Germany, where I completed both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in classical and fingerstyle guitar over the course of six years.

I’ve been a prize-winner at various guitar competitions, and I regularly perform and create fingerstyle arrangements in a wide range of styles.

Teaching Style

You can be a brand-new guitarist starting from scratch, a self-taught player with a few chords under your fingers, or an experienced musician chasing one special piece. Whatever your level or age — kids, teens, or adults — I shape the lesson around you.

  1. Play what you love first.
I believe the quickest way to real progress is the excitement of hearing your favourite melody under your own fingers. Instead of six months of dry exercises before you touch the piece you crave, we dive straight into music that moves you and slip the technique inside the song itself. Of course, if you enjoy focused drills and studies, we’ll use them — but only when they serve a clear musical goal.

  2. Custom arrangements, always.
Every student receives tablature or notation tailored to their current skills. Want a film theme, anime tune, or fingerstyle pop cover that’s “just on the edge” of your ability? I’ll arrange it so you can play it now and grow into the full-length version later.

  3. Curated learning paths.
Years of teaching have given me a deep library of graded method books and repertoire. Together we choose a path that balances challenge and fun, ensuring steady technique without boredom.

  4. Active, upbeat lessons.
I’m an energetic teacher who smiles a lot, cracks the occasional joke, and keeps the atmosphere relaxed. Expect clear explanations, achievable weekly goals, and plenty of encouragement.
