Pedro Lopes

I'm a Portuguese pianist and I've played the piano since I was 9 years old. I've done my bachelors degree in Porto (ESMAE) and my masters degree in Germany (Hochschule für Musik Detmold).

I've won some competitions throughout my career. I'm frequently invited to play in all the most important Portuguese concert halls (Casa da Música, Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, Centro Cultural de Belém, Centro Cultural e de Congressos das Caldas da Rainha, Auditório Municipal de Gaia, among many others).

Teaching has been part of my career since I was 17 years old and that's why I feel I can be of help when it comes to advising and aiding people on piano playing.

My teaching style is supportive, structured, and flexible. I focus on helping you develop solid technique, musical expression, efficient practice routines, and a strong connection to the pieces you love.
