About

I am a professional guitarist with more than twelve years of experience performing, recording, and teaching across a wide range of styles, including rock, metal, progressive music, jazz, and pop. I hold both a Bachelor’s degree in Sound Engineering (2022) and a Master’s degree in Jazz Guitar (2024) from New Bulgarian University in Sofia, Bulgaria, where I received extensive training in contemporary guitar performance, harmony, improvisation, and modern music production.

I am currently an active guitarist in two bands, including Bandanna, performing regularly at venues across Bulgaria. My live performance experience includes shows at Club Stroeja in Sofia, Club Madrid in Karlovo, and Club Hope in Kazanluk, among other clubs and events. In these projects, I perform as a guitarist and contribute creatively through rehearsals, recordings, and live performances. Alongside my work on stage, I have participated in studio projects as a sound engineer, including mixing and mastering singles and albums for independent artists, as well as sound design for animated films, including one production that received a national award nomination. I have also worked with Studio Balkandji as a mixing engineer on an album project.

I began offering private guitar lessons in 2024, teaching from my home studio. I work with students of different ages and skill levels, from beginners learning their first chords to more advanced players refining technique and musical expression. My teaching approach combines structure with creativity, adapting each lesson to the student’s goals while maintaining a supportive and motivating learning environment.

My Teaching Approach

My lessons are structured, clear, and adapted to each student’s goals. I focus on:

• Building solid technique from the ground up
• Developing tight rhythm and timing
• Speed and precision: alternate picking, economy picking, sweep picking
• Musicality, phrasing, and expression across pop, jazz, rock, and metal
• Learning riffs, solos, improvisation, and full songs
• Tone development, gear understanding, and efficient practice habits
• Optional guidance for students who want to record or produce their own guitar tracks

I teach with a calm, patient style and explain everything in a practical, easy-to-understand way. I enjoy teaching children, complete beginners, and intermediate or advanced players who want to level up their technique or expand their musical vocabulary.
